Francis Morello, Spitfire Mk Vb W3574, No 453 Squadron RAAF, 1942-1942

RAF officer Francis Morello served as a flight commander on Malta with 249 Sqn, then led 112 Sqn in Egypt and later 453 Sqn (RAAF). After several tours, he ended wartime flying in 1942. He stayed in the RAF postwar and retired in August 1960.
