L-19 "Bird Dog"

Cessna L-19E s/n 56-2647
Seen during a certification flight over Kansas in 1956. The aircraft was used to train pilots
until 1967. Subsequently it was modified as an O-1E by Cessna under an U.S. Air Force
contract (removal of all training equipment and upgrading the radios)
to be returned to combat standard for a new assignment.
