Albatros D.Va D.7161/17 took part in the Victory Loan tour during the months
after the Great War. It travelled the United States by train along with other
aircraft and captured weapons. By the time it ended its tour as a display in
Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, it was in poor shape. It was moved to the
DeYoung Memorial Museum in San Francisco during the mid-late 1930s and was
donated to the Smithonian in 1949. It is now fully restored and still on display
at the Smithonian National Air and Space Museum, Washington D.C.
